My contest (or battle) that I'm doing involves dressing up cartoon characters for war, using cartoon characters you probably wouldn't picture wearing fatigues. For my army, I chose to dress up Pokemon for a real battle, putting them in American WWII uniforms. Christ, I haven't drawn pokemon in years. Anyway, it was real fun doing research on the weaponry used in the war. Most of the weapons here are supposed to look like real weapons (although I'm terrible at drawing guns) such as Squirtle's M1 Carbine, Clefairy's Thompson submachine gun (altough I mistakingly drew it longer), and Cyndiquil's Browning Model 1919 machine gun. I'm sure some history buff's gonna kick my ass, saying how wrong these weapons are depicted, but whatever. Anyway, this was extremely fun, my favorate drawing of the bunch is Squirtle, I dont know, I just like how he looks compared to the rest. Especially Bulbasaur, I think I messed him up.

Now if only the Pokemon games were like THIS.
