Again, ATTENTION 56K USERS: This thing's pretty big, about 1.8M, it'll take a while to load.

Well boys and girls, here it is. After the overwhelming popularity of the first installment: [link] I have felt more than happy to make another "Let's all go to DeviantART" piece, where even MORE of our favorate characters from movies, TV shows, video games, and comic books get a chance to say derogatory remarks about the fan art here. Writing the jokes for this one proved to be much more difficult this time around because I mean, you can only talk so much about the excessive amounts of anime fan art you can find here on DA. Almost each one of these characters has been put through a search, and working from the searches I wrote the feedback. Some of the comments are based on a single picture, some are based on all of them, some refer to a distinct artist, and some I couldn't think of better jokes for, so they're saying little quarrels I have whenever I browse the site (like Balto's comment, for example)

To me, this one's much more cynical. It seems like none of the characters have anything NICE to say. I don't know if this will make it up to par or outshine the first one, but that's for you guys to decide. Anyway, as hard as it was, and even though I feel the overall mood has gotten darker, it was still a blast to make.

Artwork-wise, there had been several comments on the last one about the quality. Granted, it's not my best work in terms of detail or varity, but I'm still pleased. I wanted to get most of the characters down with as few lines as possible (except Samus and Master Cheif, but it's obvious why they needed more lines), and I wanted a flat, crisp 2D image. Very simple, very easy to read, that's what I was going for.

Now for the fun part, to anyone who's wondering what character is saying what comment, here's the list of the characters and their respective owners. These are listed as each row, left to right:

Who's the girl in the Samus costume, I don't recognize her.
Taigan Featured By Owner May 24, 2014
I believe the joke is supposed to be that is Samus and she's just learning that Nintendo has been "whitewashing" her in the games. ;)

but that doesn't make any sense, she's always been white.

In the games, sure.  What about in real life?

(Don't think about it to hard.  It's not that good a joke.)

strictly speaking she was originally portrayed as a 6 foot 6 180-pounds-of-pure-muscle amazonian warrior goddess before her design was inevitably butchered so that might have something to do with it
